A new era of virtuosity on wind instruments swept through late 18th-century Europe, with Giovanni Punto and François Devienne dazzling listeners with their compositions as well as their playing skill. On the instruments of the day, the soloists of the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra invite you to discover these remarkable musical achievements, in the company of one of Beethoven’s most beloved chamber works.
